Discipline?

Wahahahahaha...
Apparently what most of my friends told me was true!!!

Friends: What you mean visit your blog? You literally update once, max twice a semester!

Me: That time no inspiration and busy ma... Now got motivation to start blogging again!

Friends: You sure bor? Don't talk the talk but don't walk the walk eh...

Me: Sure! No problem one!!!

And looking at the date of the posts... I have to say history tends to repeat itself...
Hahahaha... Especially when you have the same icons under the same conditions...

Things may be looking a bit up though...
Connection to blogger.com has gotten much better compared to the last time...
As such... to the readers of Porcupine's place.. Thanks for bearing with me...

Finally!!!... Maybe

Hey people!!!
As the what the title of this posting denotes, I'm finally done and over with for my exams for this semester.
And nope, I usually do not comment on how the exam was.
No point in doing so anyway, haha.

Anyway, I will still be stuck in Penang until this Sunday.
All thanks to the leadership camp organised by my Desasiswa (that's what we call our hostel here).
The camp will be tomorrow. And we'll be going to Taman Negara Pulau Pinang.
All along I was imagining about something like a holiday hideaway in the peaceful forests of Penang.
All dreams and hopes were crushed when I found out that, among all other things scheduled for our three day outing, are the LDKs (latihan dalam kumpulan).
Well, it's not to say that the games played are lame or what...
But it's just that I've been to quite a number of camps, and the games are kinda repetitive. So it kinda explains why I'm not THAT excited about this camp.

And to top it off, apparently that place is renowned to be a spawning pool of mosquitoes.
There's no other way to be more in touch with nature than to sacrifice your blood to its residents.
Haha, sounds kinda grim there.
Will update you guys more about it when I return from the camp later on.

On another note, there's just so much I want to write about the current matters that's taking place around us.
But I guess that just have to be done on another day.
Gotta start packing up my things for now.
Can't wait to get back to Klang this Sunday and be with my lovely wife.

On a different note, how come you guys don't come to Penang to visit me one???
Just tell me if you're coming and I'll be more than glad to take you around.
Well, guess this is all. Gotta start packing.

Exams are here again

The days which every student detests the most are here again.

Personally, I would think that the study weeks' days are the hardest to endure by far

Well, I'm back here in Penang as I'm typing this.

I'm sitting in front of my laptop as my roommates are either sleeping or studying.

During study weeks, the rate at which time passes by is very very relative.

For me, my study week "officially" began 2 days ago.

And believe me, it sucks like hell.

For one, it's kinda hard to concentrate for long periods of time. After about 45 minutes of studying, I'll begin to feel restless and will try to do other things for a while.

Sometimes it would be surfing the net, reading magazines or watching animes.

As you see the clock on the desk ticking the seconds away, this sense of guilt unleashes itself upon you. And you'll be asking yourself, should I even be doing this?

And then you blame yourself for having this lack of discipline.

You wouldn't even dare to take a nap lest you wake up to discover that you've spent an hour or more doing nothing.

And to top it off, you can't even sleep peacefully. Questions will be floating around in your head.

Have I studied enough for today?

Did I memorise all the important stuffs?

What type of question will be asked in the exam?

What is the formula for that topic again?

I've dreamt of questions when I sleep before.

Rather frequently at that. Well, I'm not saying that it's a bad thing as some of you out there might say, "Good what, you're revising even when you sleep"

The problem is everything is kinda "deleted" the moment I open my eyes the greet the new day.

The funniest time would be when I dreamt that I was sitting for my STPM when I had clearly entered USM.

The horror of sitting in the exam hall looking at questions that you had little recollection of.

Well, I gotta get back to my books for now.
